Last evening we needed milk and decided to make a trip to Buehler's since yellow jugs are on sale this week. My kids claim they like the yellow jug milk better. As you can imagine--we had to get the cart with a tractor on the front. It's just not big enough to get 10 gal milk and cereal (since it's 20% off 500 cereal brands....hey, I can save .94 cents a box!!) So thankfully we ran into Milan's cousin, Belinda, who helped us carry milk with my kids to check-out. Don't you all wish you could have seen it!!! Then the kids helped me do my sweet corn and Megan read to us! Milan is in Washington D.C. We are starting a routine with Callie here. Maddie gets on the bus at 11:33AM...oh, she remembered her new friends name is Allison. So far this week Eli, Cooper and Callie have all taken a 2 hour nap....at the same time I might add!!!! On Monday and Wednesday afternoons, Bradon & Logan are getting off the bus here till their mom gets here from her job. Their dad is our school guidance counselor. Then my aunt Marilyn called and said she might have to take my Grandma Ingold to the hospital for possible blood clot and was wondering if Tyler could get off the bus here since school was about out. So I go out to get the kids off the bus (I should have had my camera) and the bus driver wonders how many more kids I want. haha!! Off comes Molly, Megan, Adam, Maddie, Mason, Bradon, Logan & Tyler. They had a pan of brownies (thanks to those people who work at Pillsbury) and a Popsicle. Then the girls thought they needed to have Isabel over so they could play boys chase girls. So over comes Isabel and they had a good time running around. They honestly all got along good and no fights or accidents. Milan said instead of time out on a chair they can stack firewood. So if you come or drive by and see our wood stack piled neatly, you will know when kids are not behaving!! No one wanted to leave tonight and they were all worried who got to stay the longest.
We were anxiously waiting on news from the Katanic's about Kaden's surgery today in Erie, PA. It sounds like surgery went well and now we will pray for healing and strength. We got to go over and feed the dog, cat and chickens...my kids were so excited...I'm thinking it was because they wanted to jump on Kaden's trampoline!!!
In other good news, it sounds like they are not going to take Grandma Ingold to the hospital. They think it might be a small blood clot and are going to treat with medicine.
Cooper's new word of the day: pitth-the (pizza)
Tomorrow I get to go to lunch at Chipotle's with some friends for my good friend Anita's 30th birthday. I've never been there and looking forward to it. Joy is coming over and babysitting my crew and Sadie.
For those of you not in Wayne County, the weather is awesome here this week!!! The kids have enjoyed playing outside everyday!! We are still enjoying pickles, tomatoes, sweet corn and fried peppers...oh, and the fresh smell of 300 chickens!
FYI: The picture on my blog is a picture I took in May out in our weedy pasture. I did use Joy's camera. Thanks again to Chris and her dad who copied my picture from my computer and put it on this blog. I'm serious--it was very complicated!!
And BTW--who is going to be the first person to comment on my 'blog' and not responding by email only......hummm........
