Election 2008

So I have a ticker on my computer. It says 13 days, 3 hours, 1 minute left. I can't believe how far ahead Obama is today. I have watched/listened to all the debates. I find it somewhat interesting to follow politics but have to wonder who to even believe anymore. I really like Palin. So the kids got to vote in school today. They thought it was the greatest thing. They all voted for McCain but Molly--she voted for Chuck Baldwin--Great Grandpa Baltic would be so proud of her!! Check it out-- http://www.baldwin08.com/

Today I only had Callie till after lunch. Her mom was home sick today. Heather and Trace stopped by on their way to Oak Cupboard for orange chocolate to make chocolate covered pretzels for her kids next week party at school. I took lots of pictures.

Homework, reading, spelling words and math flash cards. I helped Molly study for her quiz in Social Studies tomorrow. It's about the Ohio River/Great Lakes. So at the end of her quiz she has to write 4-6 facts. So I asked her what she is writing. Oh about the tributaries, what the lighthouse (Marblehead) was made of, when it was built and who was the first keeper. That girl. She can remember it too. Oh, and she knows how many miles the Ohio River is (and how wide). Where it starts and goes.

It's after 11PM. Milan went back to work tonight after supper. He moved some firewood today for Atlee. He has a full load to go to PackShip tomorrow. Then him and Roc are making deliveries local. Here is the website of his friends that own this indoor Amish furniture store: http://www.amishoutletstore.com/index.cfm.
