Yep, I finally caved! I can't handle slow speed any longer. I do have several good reasons. The kids grades (and grade cards) are going paperless and you can log on to see their grades everyday if you wish. And they can do math facts online and I don't have to write out math facts on paper and grade them. You click check answers and it keeps their score. And not to mention my own personal gratification. I can check email and update my blog so much more effective. I'm already starting to miss my slow dial-up. haha. If you have never had dial-up you totally missed out. I think it was invented for people like me to test my patients every single day. If I could make it in the morning by waiting 5 minutes for my computer to dial-up and get my homepage up without anyone calling my home phone and disconnecting the service I was doing well. Then I could only have about 3 pages opened at one time or it would freeze up. Well, my service don't start till Oct 31st. Actually, I think Joy is the only one I know that still has dial-up...anyone else want to fess up? Oh, and the good news of it all??? I said my parents referred me. They get $50 credit. I figured they would be most likely to share some with me. haha. I have $15.00 set up and then $14.95 for modem. Figured that referral fee would cover my costs!! I have to fill out a referral form and keep the service for 2 months before they get the credit.
Nothing else exciting happening around here. We spent 2 hours on homework, reading and spelling words tonight. I tried a new recipe tonight from Anita. It was for a pizza casserole. I have our canned pizza sauce. The kids really liked it. We shared some with Katanic's and Tom & Shelly are getting some. Milan went over and tilled Katanic's garden tonight. I'm loving this cooler weather.

I am no longer talking to you. High speed internet! Just not right. :O)
Congrats on High-Speed! That has to make a huge difference. Growing up, we had Dial up for a while...it can be pretty frustrating at times.
Enjoy!
