Aunt Esther Estate Auction

This morning we got up and went to Great Aunt Esther Fritz's Estate Auction. I would guess the temps were high 25 degrees and yes, the auction was outside. We all wore long johns and some took their snowsuits but it was still cold out. We got some good deals. The kids most exciting item was a globe. We all seen where Sam & Joy are moving to in Germany....yes, they are moving!!! They have to be there by May and hopefully will return by November of this year! Sam is going for his work at LuK. Aunt Beth bought the piano so Milan stayed and helped them haul it home.

Milan went to work on my van over at his boss's (heated) garage this afternoon/evening. He is still there and I put the kids to bed early because tomorrow is our first day of Sunday School for the new year.

Curt arrived at 10PM here on his way home from FL. He left down there at 9AM. He can't believe he was on the beach this morning and now arrived here with almost snow drifted shut roads. He wanted me to try a cookie Jill made....it was good!!!!

Also, got a call tonight that Hess's barn roof caved in tonight. Must be from all the snow. They are hauling out cattle.
