How many of you know what that is? This is the first day in weeks I haven't had them on. Gma Hartzler would be so proud of me!!! They are long johns. She used to get us grandkids all a pair for Christmas. She even paid us .10 if we would wear them to her house in the winter. Now she is on my kids that they need to wear them. It was finally above freezing (actually 45 degrees) for the first time in weeks!! Some snow melted and I can see some of my side walk.
Tonight the Horst's came over for pizza. We just went back in time and Curvin remembers the first time he met Milan and I milking nights at Nussbaums in 1997. He was our milk tester and we got done milking at midnight and invited him to our house for root beer floats. That's where our friendship began. He since got married and they are expecting their 5th child in 9 weeks.
Then we packed up and headed over to The Nate Steiner's for the evening. They had 18 families and over 40 kids!! Let's just say the basement was a little loud with all the kids. What a fun evening!!
