Frozen water!

So our weather forecast was over-rated....like big time! We did get an hour delay out of it though. So tonight they are calling for another storm. It will figure that the kids Christmas parties at school (movies, parties, show choir) will all be cancelled the day before their 2-week Christmas break. Oh, they will be bummed!!

I had to tell Milan that these chickens have really gotten on my last nerves this whole week he has been gone. I can't believe I'm actually admitting that 200 chickens have ruined my week. I've actually been grouchy!! The water is frozen everyday, they crap on their eggs and they have been tipping their feeders over and then crapping on them!! Can you feel my frustration??

We are normally getting over 100 eggs a day. Speaking of eggs, our main breakfasts still consists of eggs. I think the kids actually really enjoy it. This morning I had some extra eggs when Kait & Tessa came for a few hours and told them they could have some. They said they didn't have supper yet and would love some! So I have to share a funny story around the breakfast table with 3-3 yr olds, Maddie and Cooper. Maddie asks the girls what their daddy's name is. One says 'Daddy'. Eli says 'Hey, that's my Daddy's name, too'. And they laughed and laughed. (I did take some pictures I'll have to post)

This afternoon after Maddie got on the bus, my mom and I (with Eli, Cooper & Callie) went to the Cheese Shoppe!! She got some things for Christmas and I got trail bologna & cheese for teachers for Christmas. I hope they like it. I've made bread and given other homemade things before but just didn't take the time this year. Tonight is bucket washing and Molly and Megan are going to Disney on Ice with Sam & Joy when they take Sam's mom for Christmas. The younger kids didn't want to sit the last Disney on Ice (High School Musical) so they are not going this time around.

I can't wait till Milan gets home tomorrow night hopefully!!! It's been a looonnnggg week!! He had been home for about 3 weeks up till this trip. The chickens will be glad to see him!! HAHA!!
