O-H-I-O

Everyone did well yesterday for their 1st day back to school for 2 weeks off. They all came home with homework, fluency, poetry and spelling words. All the babysitting kids are back except for Kailey and Noah who start next week. They played outside after school.

We are getting over 150 eggs a day. So if you need eggs or know of anyone who needs eggs, PLEASE stop by our garage and help yourself. Milan wants me to put a sign up in the yard.

So last night was the big Ohio State game. The kids forgot to wear their shirts to school and EVERYONE else wore theirs. I didn't even know who they were playing. So I checked the score online and read a few articles on CNN today. Maybe next time they can win a bowl game.

Today is Old Christmas for the Amish. Everything is closed. Two of the kids mom works in Berlin and no school there today. So this morning we went to the post office and library. Then I went to get sticker for my car license and was paying when she wondered if I wanted to renew my license since it expired on my birthday. Eli just about had a license by charming all the ladies in there at the license bureau. Go figure! Then we went to Staples for the $1 deals this week. They were out of most since the sale started on Sunday. No rain checks. I got Sharpie permanent markers (5 or 6 pack) for a $1 each. Pack of highlighters for $1. 30 clips of all sizes for $1. I love deals!!!! Then we went through McDonald's on the way home for fry and cheeseburger. Callie came this afternoon so her mom could get some stuff done at home. The kids are all napping!
