4-H

Well, I only got one batch of bread done today. So ya, that means I'm a little behind. I made some awesome soup (I thought but not the kids). It was sausage tortilli with sausage, cabbage, tortilli, stewed tomatoes, spices and broth.

After school we did homework and chores and ate supper. Then we went to a 4-H organization meeting to see what 4-H is all about and if we want to join. The kids have all kinds of ideas. I have to read through all the info and decide if I really want to work on projects all through the summer, too. One wants cooking, one wants sewing and Adam wants to take a cow. :) The kids wondered why you have two pledges at every meeting, why you have to have a motion and second it, etc......

Milan has been gone all week. He left early Monday morning for the east coast. New York, CT and Washington D.C. He will be home sometime tomorrow. That's a good thing because for some reason the waterer froze up tonight in the barn and we don't have running water. He just don't seem to understand how we always get these problems when he's gone.
