Grandma is with Jesus!

WOW!! Is that ever hard to type. I can't believe how fast this went. I was up early this morning again wondering how Grandma's night went. Milan left to head to the East Coast so I woke up Molly and said I was going to slip over to check on Grandma. I stayed for about 20 minutes and listened to Uncle John and Grandma both sleeping peacefully. I got home to wake up kids for school and Aunt Marilyn called to say she had just took her last breath. The only comfort I find is knowing she is in Heaven right now and is so happy. But I'm sad. Real sad. I have spent the most time the last few years visiting Uncle Quill and my Grandma Ingold in the Nursing Home several times a week and every Sunday and now they are both gone. My friend, Andrea came over and I got to go over one more time. Everything was quiet. No oxygen, no breathing, nothing. I came back home and called some friends and sent an email. I am almost overwhelmed by the responses I received. Such encouragement. I thought it would be easier since she is older and also knowing that her time on Earth was coming to end but it's not. Thanks to each one who has called or sent me an email. Please pray for our family.

You will have no regrets, you spent many quality hours spending time with her. Taking your kids there isn't always easy and I admire your passion for keeping her involved with your kids lives. I wish I could take the sadness away, but I can't. Hope you'll hold the sweet memories alive. love you, heather
