Quick Update

We are all safe and sound. My family informed me I need to get this updated. I think we are having too much fun this summer. I love summer break!! Sunday night I took this picture of my brother Doug....who was just one that mentioned I needed 'something' new to blog about.

Tuesday morning we went to Smithville Parks to sign up for their summer Parks and Rec program. They do games and crafts in the morning and then you can (pay) to get on a bus to go to Orrville Pool. The kids said it was all boys there.
Wednesday was my sister, Jill's 29th Birthday. She is up here in Ohio for a few weeks. Eli & Cooper had story hour at the library and Jill wanted Scarlett to come and join us. And then Aunt Marilyn had Adam who had stayed over night at her house with Tyler. Curt needed to go to Verizon and Father's Day shopping and Mom was in Wooster running errands so we actually all met at McDonald's. It was just kinda of a last minute phone call and everyone met at just about the same time. So leave it up to my Mom to have cupcakes (that were actually suppose to be for supper) and she brought them into McDonald's (WITH MATCHES) and the kids thought it was cool to sing to her.

And in case I don't update again in awhile. Here is a Happy 4th Birthday to my little man, Eli who will have a birthday on Saturday, June 20.
Oh, and last night....while everyone was on their way to church we were in the basement with tornado warnings. WQKT was saying a tornado was spotted over SR 585, Eby Rd and Apple Creek Rd....which is pretty much right over our house. It layed all our beautiful sweet corn over, blew over my picnic table and chairs and layed debris all over the yard. We are all ok and the kids had a blast after it passed playing in the flood waters in our neighbors low spot. We got 2.5" during the storm last night.
This morning Molly and I had dentist appointments up at Case Western Dental School. The Smith's babysat my other kids--played basketball, walk in the woods, watched movie, weed fight and ate hot dogs, mac and cheese, dorittos and watermelon.
And today we are working on a Father's Day picture for our daddy. I wrote H-a-p-p-y F-a-t-h-e-r-s D-a-y on every body's feet. Molly took the picture to see what it would look like. I'm not sure why Cooper thought he had to sit on his potty. We're waiting for the next person to stop at our house to get our picture so I can get a picture developed by the weekend.
