Summer Play Day

Today was another beautiful summer day. Anita invited us over for lunch and the kids to play for a few hours. They will soon be starting back to school. Anita had trail bologna, cheese and crackers. Andrea made a new recipe of blueberry brusheta. It was pretty good. I took cucumber salad and some snacks. I think the kids pretty much destroyed every room in her house that day. They played in the girls bedrooms, toy room, basement, garage and then the barn. Molly was the only one who managed to loose her shoes climbing the bales.

Then Friday night we had our annual Potluck Picnic at Creston Park. The weather again was great and the food as you can imagine was plenty! The kids played kick ball in the ball field.

Also, on this day-my parents and grandparents are leaving for Germany to visit Sam, Joy and little Kora. They have like a 13-hour flight. Ugghh! We will here tomorrow when they make it. They are going to do some traveling but spend lots of time with Gardners!!
