Bucket Washing

Seems like it comes around pretty often. In case you don't know, we get together with Milan's family from around here at the World Relief building in Rittman the 3rd Thurs of every month and wash buckets. They come from Smith Dairy and Smuckers and they are dirty, smelly, sticky and even moldy. They guys power wash them and then we have a 'system' set up to wash them better, rinse them and dry them and even stacking them. Then different people come in and fill them with all kinds of different things to send anywhere in the world! The kids have fun and we look forward to seeing everyone. It's a lot of work but the guys hang in there!! Tonight we washed over 500 buckets. It's not the record but it's a lot. Then when we got all done the kids were begging to spend the night at Luginbuhl's. So all but Cooper went home with them tonight. Milan is on his way home from St Louis. It's about midnight and I washed 2 loads of laundry and did my dishes. We'll see how late Cooper and I can sleep in on our LAST day of summer. Yep!! School starts Monday morning. The bus picks up Molly at 7:05AM for middle school!! Oh, speaking of middle school. We went to the open house tonight before bucket washing. We met her homeroom teacher, Mrs Wertz and the other 5th grade teachers. Mrs Dannemiller, Mrs Frizell and Mrs Sillman.
