Yesterday we enjoyed 2 family cook-outs. After church we went to Brian & Angie's new home for a cook-out. I've never been down Saunder in Wooster. They have a beautiful new home! They grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and the potluck dinner was great!! We got to catch up with some friends and met new ones too. The kids loved playing outside. Football for the big kids and Dylan's toys for Eli & Cooper....they loved his battery powered car!!
Then we stopped over at Pelfrey's for the next cook-out. All our cousins are still here from California. Most of our Hartzler family was there. The kids played football again...thanks to Dad, Tom, JP, Curt and the the Gasser kids who helped keep them entertained. Stingley's came out for the evening too. We enjoyed s'mores over the fire and listening to the Sprinkles play guitar and sing. What a fun memory!!
Today just unwinding from the past few days and reflecting over the change that will occur. I was just getting ready to enjoy a quiet afternoon nap after getting Eli, Cooper and Callie sleeping when I get a call from Mr Johnson that Adam was sick and had a slight fever. Joy just happened to stop and I had her pick him up at school. He layed on the couch all evening with aches and pains with 100.8 fever. Molly enjoyed a field trip today with a few kids from each class. It was up in Cleveland and it was a Channel 19 news education day. She got to see how they check the news, record it and how they show it on TV. She likes the weather but says she probably don't want to be a weather reporter. She came home from school feeling a little sick too.
Milan picked up a bushel of Ginger Gold apples in Kidron. We made 24 qt applesauce tonight. Megan to bed early for state reading testing in the morning.
