Milan is on his way home and should be here this evening. We are home doing homework and studying for spelling tests and science test for Megan. She has to know definitions of strip cropping, resource, loam, contour plowing, humus, crust, conservation. She has to know 4 of the 7 properties of soil, reasons we need to take care of our soil, how we can get minerals without eating soil, advice to a farmer, parts of soil, layers of soil, types of soil, ways to save soil. So you know what we'll be doing tonight!!
It's starting to feel like winter. The days are getting cooler. I don't think it's suppose to get 60 degrees today. I love the cool weather. Bucket washing is cancelled tonight because of meat canning at the World Relief this week. Tonight we visited Grandpa & Grandma Baltic & Aunt Nettie. The kids enjoyed seeing Aunt Nettie's guinea hens in the garage. They also watched some 'You Tubes' of guinea hens. We took some fun pictures before we left. Then we stopped down at the farm to visit Matt & Lynn and 8 new pups!!
Eli didn't want his picture taken with everyone else so here he is by
Megan & Cooper sitting on the 4-wheeler so the pups (whose eyese aren't even opened up yet) don't get them. haha!!
